First Mac-based botnet becomes active, in the form of iServices, a Trojan infection accompanying some pirated versions of iWork '09 and Photoshop CS4. Infected Macs turn into zombies and start Although downloaded at least 20,000 times by the end of January, the Trojan's payload has remained dormant for some time. It causes excessive CPU usage on a Mac, and instigates denial-of-service attacks on websites. The trojan only activates if you willingly execute and provide Administration password during its installation.
But if you suspect you have it - don't worry, getting rid of it is easy, if you suspect you're a zombie learn how here.
As with all Trojan Horse prevention advice, be wary of what you download and install - and be suspicious of any installation that requires root access.
