I think "finding it easy" is

I think "finding it easy" is subjective - but for me, a lot of operations are much simpler.

As I see it, for a switcher to fully appreciate his/her Mac, they will have to get past at least 2 days of some basic training & familiarization and get used to how things work differently, understand that how some document file formats are compatible with other kinds of (at times cheaper or free) software, and realize that ".exe" files aren't the only kinds of files to run.

Remember that people who are new to Windows will also sit through some sort of training - it's the same thing.

This is assuming they put in the effort to learn a new experience. It's quite unfortunate that some people don't try to learn and instead go back to what they know and stay there, however.

Ever since I got my Mac, however, I've been doing a lot of video editing because it was just such a joy to work on. Video editing and burning it to a DVD takes no more than 2 hours with complex-looking results. This, and all the usual work such as writing documents and presentations.

The fact that until today, I don't run any antivirus software hogging the memory (and never had any problems) is a testament to the Macs' excellent use as a productivity tool - I don't need to worry about other things, just concentrate on finishing the work quickly and efficiently.

I also ran a Mac Mini as a server for about 2 years before switching it to a more dedicated server without any problems. Coupled with a UPS backup for power interruptions, it runs day and night without any issues.
