New iPad Announcement
--------------------------------------

Well, the long wait is over. Apple has just announced its new iPad. This baby sports a 10" screen, Apple's custom "A4" processor, and 3G connectivity. The announced price starts from USD$ 499, however, the pricing for Malaysia has still yet to be announced. This is almost 50% lower than what most analysts were expecting!

There are 3 specifications s (16GB, 32GB & 64GB) and 2 versions - WiFi or 3G.

...did you know that Steve Jobs himself hinted on its development way back in 2007, during a keynote demo on iLife '06 GarageBand's Podcasting feature as a joke? In it, his demo podcast speculated that there would be an "8 pound iPod with a 10” screen". Well, 4 years later we have the iPad, but it weighs 1.5lbs instead of 8.

Original Powerbook
--------------------------------------
Another Blast from the Past - this time some videos from Youtube on the original Apple PowerBook back in 1991. When it was introduced, it was a breakthrough design for its time - an integrated trackball and a keyboard that has a palm resting area - a new design for its time. It proved to be a huge hit back then.

Steve Ballmer, would you sign my Macbook Pro?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A University student approached Steve Ballmer (Microsoft's CEO for those who didn't know) and asked, “would you sign my laptop?", but cheekily pulled out a MacBook Pro. Watch the video to see what Ballmer does. Smiling

I'd been dying to have this

I'd been dying to have this gadget. Truly, I was really desperate that I did look if can have even in eBay, until, a friend of mine tells me about Beezid. Beezid has a penny auction category, and you can get great prices, but you also have to pay to play – it can cost you up to $1 to see the highest bid. So if you make 20 bids, and pay each time, that could be up to $20 to win the auction, and if you save less than $20…you lost money. Oh, and you don't get that money back if you don't win the auction.
